Grebbestad Bryggeri
Grebbestads Bryggeri is a new micro situated in the beautiful small town Grebbestad on the Swedish west coast. It was founded the 18th of December 1995 by Lars Wennerås and equipped with the equipment from Ahornberg Landbrauerei. The first beer from the brewery Granit, a full bodied light all malt lager, was released in May 1996. The latest addition to their product line is the semi-dark discretely malty Christmas seasonal Grebbestad Jul-Öl. Granit
In the end of '96 they bought Bohus Bryggeri. Bohus was a newly started small scale brewing company in the same area whose beer until then had been brewed under contract by Moss in Norway. By buying Bohus Grebbestad also took over the production of Bohus two pilsners: Bohus Pilsner and Bohus Amiral. Both these are dry, fairly bitter and tasty pilsners.
Currently Grebbestad's products are:

  • Bohus Amiral - Lager, Pils (5,1%)
  • Bohus Pilsner - Lager, Pils (4,7%)
  • Granit - Lager (4,8%)
  • Granit, klass II - Lager (2,8%)
  • Koster - Lager (5,1%)

    Seasonals:

  • Jul-Öl - Lager, dark (5,1%) Christmas beer
