Per´s comments: Clear ruby/brown, brief beige head. Aniseed dominates the nose. Medium sweet with salty grainy malt and licorice. Clearly not a classic English porter as the name would indicate, instead an offspring from the Ukrainian porter tradition - ie. dark brown, sweetish licorice tasting beers. That´s a good thing - this really is a good beer in it´s own right.
