| Per's comments: Clear golden, brief head. Having had less favourable experiences with other Abita beers I approached this with some caution. I was greeted by deep buttery malt, grass and some fruitiness. It came out pleasantly dry with a well built rounded body. Some husky buttery malt dominates the flavours until a light salty bitterish finish with a slight alcohol warmth. A restrained and well balanced heller bock, much more authentic than expected and with a really good malt profile. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||
