| Per's comments: Black with rich, firm, beige head. Mostly metal and ash up front. Sweetish with full body and soft mouthfeel. Hearty coffee, creme brulee topped by salty, grassy hops. Rich yet mellow, with some licorice and long resiny bitterness. Some warmth in the finish. Terrible aroma, but the richness and softness of the malt is what I remember this beer for. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||
