| Per´s comments: Amber coloured. Toffee aroma. Chewy and malty, dryish with filling mouthfeel. Complex flavours, and chocoalte finish. This is the most outstanding of the fine ales I sampled at this pearl of a country brewpub in the northernmost corner of the English Lake District. If you want to eat here, make sure to reserve a table way ahead, as it is very popular with the locals. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||
