| Per´s comments: Nut brown with firm creamy head. Beechwood smokey nose. Dense, soft maltyness. The smokeyness is fairly strong and sausagelike, very much like in the better Bamberg rauchbiers. There is a trace of salty licorice in the finish. Wow, this beer was an excellent way of starting a pub crawl, and indeed this brewpub might be the best all-around in Vienna. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||
