| Per´s comments: I was really lucky here. Took a chance and visited the brewery without establishing contact beforehand. It is possibly the brewery with the most beatiful location in the world, situated in a farm on the high end of a valley overlooking highest mountain peaks in Scandinavia and the lakes further down the valley. I caught the brewmaster brewing, which is only done once a week, and he served me this, his new beer. It is a traditional farm style ale, where the water has been boiled together with juniper branches, in the same way as Gotlandsdricke. It poured with a hazy bronze colourand formed a rich, creamy head. The aroma was dominated by the light smokiness from the juniper. It was medium dry with creamy mouthfeel and fairly light bodied. The finish was lightly bitter with a balanced toucj of smokey juniper. The similarities to Gotlandsdricke is mostly the aroma. This brew is more clean and light bodied.
