Per´s comments: This beer is brewed on a farm near lake Vänern in western Sweden. It´s only available at one place, the excellent rural restaurant Forshems Gästgivaregård, 150m away from the brewery. The brewer has been helped by Håkan Lundgren, one of the pioneers in Swedish microbrewing, and co-founder of what now is Nils Oscar, and you can tell that by the beer. It pours cloudy orange with creamy head. It is dryish with soft mouthfeel and light-medium body and firm mouthfeel. Aromatic and beautifully balanced with lingering, hoppy bitter finish. Like a drier, non-filtered Nils Oscar Farm Ale. Sensationally good to their Ramslöksoppa. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||
