| Per´s comments: I got myself a bit of a surprise when I opened this bottle, of what is AFAIK the southernmost beer in the world. The cap was rusty, so I searched for date stamps - it said Nov 1997... Anyway this vintage lager poured deep hazy golden. The aroma had a lot of toffee, but not the acidity you´d expect from a 7 year old lager. It was sweet and medium bodied with soft, rounded mouthfeel. Low bitterness. For some odd reason this beer had probably gained from aging. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||
