| Per´s comments: Hazily ruby with compact, very rich orange-beige head. Full blown aroma with esters and higher alcohol, exotic fruits like pineapple and kiwi are prominent. Vinous with balanced malt sweetness. Very malty, but does not feel heavy. The flavour is complex - estery fruits interplay with soft malt and grassy hops, all enhanced my the alcohol, which doesn´t shine through. There´s more rye bread than bitterness in the finish. This is an extremely well balanced eisbock, and also very complex. One of the better beers I´ve had! | ||||||||||||||||||||||||
