| Per´s comments: Deep golden, firm head. Sweetish with clean mouthfeel. The lovely oily butterscotch character that used to be the trademark of the Bernard brewery before Moortgat takeover is completely gone. Some citric hops tries in vain to cover the void behind it, but with a too clean malt profile Bernard´s beer has nowadays more character of standard international lagers than the top of the line Czech pilseners it used to be. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||
