| Per´s comments: Opaque black with surprisingly rich, creamy beige head. Fruity nose with notes of prickly pears and licorice. The mouthfeel is slim and soft. Plenty of sweet malt and estery notes of higher alcohols. Very vinous with notes of coffee. The initial sweetness is replaced by a dry finish. Complex. An unusual imperial stout with as it is so fruity and vinous, and yet it does not get sticky or overly sweet. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||
