| Per´s comments: Pours thick pitch black without a trace of a head. Slivovic-like plum brandy aroma burning of alcohol. Veru sweet. Some coffee simmers in a sea of syrup and alcohol. The mouthfeel is cloyingly thick, and beneath lies some sharp malt. Achingly sugary finish with extreme amounts of alcohol coming through, despite the overly ramped up sweetness. The nice coffee flavour is the one redeeming feature in this concotion. Oh, and in what way is Jamaica halfway around the world from North America? | ||||||||||||||||||||||||
