Ohhh... My Head...

As yours truly turned 30 some of his best friends gather at the Stockholm pub to get down to some tasting of seriously good vintage beers. And we weren't disappointed in the beers. In fact it was by far the best rating session ever, and the old top list was demolished. The lovaleytart, and refreshing Felix Oudenarde Oud Bruin 1998, aged 4 years ended up as our new number 1, closely followed by the complex, champagne-like Malheur Brut Reserve with the powerful La Trappe Quadrupel 1992, aged 10 years as the new number 3...

Furthermore the three vintage varieties tested of Westvletern all scored excellent marks, and all three of them ended up among the top 11... This was truly a night to remember...
