Per's comments: hazy amber, minima head. Honeyish nose. Sweet with clean mouthfeel. No sahti-characterics at all, more leaning towards a Belgian tripel, but dripping with honey. The juniper can be discerned, but barely. Sweeter and tougher to drink than sahti - lacks all the rustic refreshing qualities. Instead it’s hard and tries to be cool and elegant like a snobby upper class lady. I’m surprised they can call it sahti - thught that was a protected name in EU? | ||||||||||||||||||||||||
