| Per's comments: Served in stein with firm creamy head. Probably amberish coloured. Marked tarry smoke nose. Dry and medium bodied with clean rounded mouthfeel. Very direct smoke flavour, countered only by light caramel. Not as deep and soft as Schlenkerla, but with nore intense tarry smoke. One of the most distinguishable beers in the whole of Franconia. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||
