Per's comments: Clear golden, small head. Grassy nose with paper underneath. Mid-sweet and a bit fruity. Light-medium bodied with rounded mouthfeel. The hops are there, but it’s way too sweet, too rounded and too simplistic to be a German pilsener, loosing all sense of drinkability. Feels dead dull. If anything it’s more akin to German supermarket beers like Becks or Warsteiner than the real stuff. Would not qualify among the top 1000 pilseners in Germany. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||
