| Per's comments: Clear nut brown. Mild peaty smokey nose. Medium bodied, soft and mild. Very relaxed where peaty, woody smoke combines well with light orangey hops and cushiony malt. The idea of a smokey bitter appears bizarre, but in reality this is fantastic, hugely drinkable well balanced ale with complex flavours and growing bitter finish. Woth perfect malt profile and perfec conditiong it's one of the best pints I had in a good while. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||
