| Per's comments: Ruby/black, small but persistant head. Minty asphalt and grapefruit assaults my nostrils with pear, coffee and licorice following shortly thereafter. Sweet and massively full bodied with compact, black hole-style mouthfeel. Lots and lots of hops backed by licorice and truckloads of heavily roasty malt. Peppery warming alcohol dominates ths finish. Clean and massive, potent and hugely flavourful, but still not with much depth. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||
