| Per's comments: Very dark brown, small head. The coffee and roastiness is overrun by red wine. Tannines and oak creates a tartness that marries the liciorice. In the end the Merlot takes over, but at that point I've already fallen for this beer and don't mind anymore. I'm not really sure if this is complex, but it's intense and it's good. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||
