Per's comments: Clear brown, small head. Aroma of salty whisky and resiny hops. Full bodied with rounded mouthfeel. Caramel and oak. Strangely the 1000 IBUs seem to have been drowned in caramel and whisky. Sure, the finish is bitter, but not crazily so. What is crazy is to first use half the hop harvest in the northern hemisphere, concentrate it to a tiny bottle, and then hide it with oak aging. Whatever works is good I guess, and this actually tastes good... | ||||||||||||||||||||||||
