Per's comments: Opaque black, minimal head. Vast aroma of Baileys and brandy. Malty with lots of chocolate, sweet licorice and Mars bar. Full bodied with oily mouthfeel. Potent but edgeless. Intensely warming without being boozy at all. Haandbryggeriet has certainly progressed in my eyes lately. In my point of view their early beers were eye-catching but superficial. As of lately they are real stunners, combining depth and and attractive surface. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||
