| Per's comments: Very black, rich creamy head. Fruity nose with plenty of pear, cedar joins later. Sweet and full bodied, packed with syrupy, honeyish malt. Soft and rich, filled with prickly pears, licorice, cedar and brandy. Salty finish with growing bitterness. I really love what cedar is doing to lighter hoppy beers, here it does not wor quite as well, still it is a masterfully crafted beer. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||
