Per's comments: Black, minimal head. Careful roasty nose with some black pepper. Dryish with clean mouthfeel. Rather tinny with markes coffee-like roastiness. The clean, hard malt is surrounded by sloppy syrup. To hard malt character for any flavours to come out, making it feel unpleasantly metallic - like licking a lamp post. Fades out with low bitterness. Rock hard malt in a saison = FAIL. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||
