| Per's comments: Lightly hazy golden, mid sized head. Fruity nose with slight banana and phenols. Medium bodied with rounded mouthfeel. Fruitiness are more evident than the banana and clove esteriness usually associated with a hefeweizen. Never hard or overcarbonated, but the fairly clean mouthfeel reduces drinkability. While not clear it comes across as barren and shallow, more as a kristallweizen or an Erdinger styled wheat ale than a hefeweizen. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||
