Per's comments: Spun the wheel and got a sample that poured hazy dark brown. There's a huge gooseberry and lychee aroma. Dryish with clean, rounded mouthfeel. Salty with licorice and grapefruit - lots of grapefruit. Some chocolate in a heavily salty, very bitter finish where ink comes close. Would have been fun to try the dark and the pale version side by side, but as it seems to be a sales gimmick to not reveal what beer you're buying that seems difficult to do. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||
