Per's comments: Cloudy amber, small head. Pungent minty pear and black currant aroma. Mid sweet with full body and well rounded mouthfeel. Even though syrupy malt gets a bit heavy, they seem to support the overt hops perfectly. Lychee, chablis wine and pink grapefruit. Finishes with balanced but powerful piney resiny bitterness. Maybe the warmth and extrovert, colourful hop profile is working as the perfect refuge from the late November Stockholm weather with sleet and darkness, or maybe its just a plain brilliant beer. I'm not the greatest fan of DIPAs, but this I certainly like. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||
