Per´s comments: This beer has quite a reputution as it is mentioned by Alan Marshall in his famous beer-records.faq dating back to 1995 as the darkest beer he knew at 450 EBC. It pours very black with a brownish head, but I think nowadays there are darker beers. It is sweet and creamy and rather light bodied. The mouthfeel as well rounded and it is lightly roasty and somewhat chocoaltey. The finish is velvetty with low bitterness. A good crossing between milk chocolate and stout. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||
