Bought at: Oliver Twist, Stockholm
Per´s comments: Clear golden, minimal head. The cloudberry aroma is somewhat marmelady and subdued. Sweet and near full bodied. Fruity and rich with evident bold wheat malt character. There is some bitterness, but not much. It´s interesting but the sweetnews of the wheat malt hides a little of the cloudberry character. Apparently the owner of Oliver Twist brought some of Akkurat´s Cantillon Soleil de Minuit over to the US and let some extreme brewers taste it. DFH decided they wanted to make something similar, but a good harvest of north Swedish cloudberries had to be awaited. This happened in 2005, and then cloudberries was brought over by Oliver Twist. Only one keg was saved and made available for the Swedish pub.
