Ohhh... My Head... - Nynäshamn Real ale festival 2003

This is the first small real ale festival I've attended ever. Two English breweries were represented, and also of course Nynäshamns Ångbryggeri served thgeir own beer. Of the cask ales the superbly drinkable and well hopped Wentworth WPA stood in a class of it's own, with the rich stout in 2nd place Kelham Island Bête Noire. Ironically the top beer of the evening was bottled. The 14 year old Carnergie Porter 1989 is probably just at it's prime at this time.

I really do hope this will be an annual event...
