As usual there was not much unity over the rated beers, While some (me included) favoured the more bitter ales from Harviestoun and the heavier ones from Broughton, others found the lighter Broughton's more to their liking. And in the end the medium heavy Wild Cat from Tomintoul stole the honourable 1st place by scoring 3.67. The overall ratings were exceptionally high. Only Caledonians winter warmer White Out, wasn't well recieved. However since it was served the bottom of the barrel (we didn't even have to pay for it), it wasn't really made justice. It came out really warm, and awfully yeasty.
