Per´s comments: Dark brown, average sized beige head. Fruit ylicorice aroma, Sweet with estery winegums and black currant. Very fruity and medium bodied. Esters seem to provide nearly all the flavours, roasty malt is hardly visible, so as an imperial stout it would be disqualified in a homebrewing competition. However as a dark, estery Fantôme-like belgian ale it is perhaps amateurish but actually really good. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||
