Per´s comments: Going side to side with J.W.Lees Harvest Ale was tough for this beer. It poured very dark brown and formed a rich head. Raspberries and fruits were predominant in the aroma. It was sweet and relatively malty with some depth. It had notes of chocolate and wood, as well as a punch of rhum. A good, complex beer, sure, but fell short in this comparison. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||
