Per´s comments: Clear golden, brief head. Dryish with some light fruitiness. Like in all Roosters beers the hop rate is low, but here some mangoish notes reveals the use of small amounts of classic Kiwi hops. The body is more full than in their other beers and the mouthfeel is pleasantly soft. When it warms it reveals notes of butter and toffee, as well as fair amounts of alcohol. Rooster´s itself is nice looking roadside place, where the locals gather for an after work beer. Their range of non assaulting beers seem to work well with the crowd. Just don´t come heer to expect some fancy, out-there styles... | ||||||||||||||||||||||||
