Per´s comments: It was a surprise when I realized I hadn´t rated either the cask or the canned version of this. The explanation is probably that I´ve never liked it. Therefore I was equally surprised when the canned version was really attractive and hoppy. Upon sampling the cask version I quickly remembered why I´ve kept myself from drinking it since long before I´ve joined Ratebeer. It comes out clear amber. Smells insipid of boiled vegetables and ash. It´s sweetish with light body and some syrup. Finishes wih some vague saltiness. Just boring and insipid. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||
